Q: Are there chances of getting employed with Dangote group after the program?
A: Employment within the group is subject to existing vacancies thereby not guaranteed. However, qualified graduates with good performance may be considered if suitable.

Q: What is the duration of the Program?
A: The first batch will run for 18 months; successful trainees would proceed for another 12-month training to become Industrial Mechanics. This makes it a total of 30 months.

Q: What is the training period per day?
A: The daily training period is 8am - 5pm with one-hour break in-between.

Q: What are the facilities like?
A: We have a state-of-the-art recreation center undergoing construction, football pitch, basketball court, library, lecture theatre, Computer room, workshops, classrooms, Male and Female hostels, cafeteria, etc.

Q: Is the training for only Dangote group staff?
A: The short courses are open to companies, NGOs and Governments institutions. Business units across the Dangote group will also be able to present staff for requisite training which will be paid for by such BU. The Dual vocational training Full Course is open to all qualified applicants nation-wide.

Q: Would the training be residential?
A: Yes. Trainees are expected to stay in hostels for the duration of the training.

Q: How about feeding?
A: The Academy cafeteria operates within the study hours and will serve Breakfast and Dinner free of charge during this time. However, Lunch will be paid for the trainees. For short courses, trainees will be responsible for their feeding. Note that cooking is prohibited in the hostels.

Q: Will I be issued a certificate after the program?
A: Trainees will receive a certificate of attendance after a successful completion of the training.
